General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) is someone who almost always has something to say about current events, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that she has something to say about this. The soap star recently weighed in on all of the controversy surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their Netflix series, Harry and Meghan. Here’s what you need to know.

Taking to her Twitter account, Nancy wrote, “Meghan Markle’s courage & resolve to take ownership of her narrative & speak truth to power is benefiting ALL women. #Harry’s magnificent support of her strength is teaching ALL men.”

Those are certainly strong words. Many of her social media followers commented on the matter with, “Yes thank you for articulating that.  So many are trashing them…. It’s disheartening.   I respect them for stepping away and building their own joy,” along with, “I couldn’t agree more. What is most startling is how Women are eager to dismiss her truth and tear her down for speaking HER truth. I thought the doc was very well done. I do not blame them one bit for getting out or for talking about it. She was put through hell, by the family and the press.”

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Meghan Markle?

Meanwhile, the royal family has been left rather baffled over Harry and Meghan wanting to see an apology come from them. During Episode 6 of the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex says that he’s fine with the notion that he may never hear from his family members ever again, let alone get an apology from them. He said, “I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology. My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next.”

But whether or not that apology will happen, remains to be seen.
