General Hospital Fans React To Marcus Coloma’s Departure

General Hospital spoilers say that fans sure have a lot to say about Marcus Coloma’s departure from the show and let’s just say that not all of it is very good. In fact, it seems like there are more critics who believe that this is positive news more than anything else. Here’s why.

General Hospital Fans React To Marcus Coloma’s Departure

On Monday, it was announced that Marcus was pink slipped from General Hospital. Unfortunately, he decided not to film the rest of his scenes even though he’s got a few heavy storylines connected to his character.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many General Hospital fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter. Many of them commented with, “THIS IS JOYOUS NEWS!!! And knowing how he reacted by his firing shows just the kind of child he actually is. I’ve known four-year-olds with more appropriate reactions than he displayed at his firing. I mean, he had the likes of Genie Francis & Maura West as his female leads, and he let them carry his ass through scenes, and he put in NOTHING,” along with, “I pray they don’t kill off the character. Laura needs to have a child on the canvass, and frankly, Nikolas is her most interesting child. If TC isn’t a viable candidate, please find someone who is. I’ve grown to like the temp replacement they’ve used recently. He’d probably welcome a contract.”

Another critic wrote, “I’m just done with GH for awhile, wrote Nik terribly for 6 moths now onw of my few reasons to watch GONE. Just like Devry and probably just like Roger. More importantly the writing on GH is just terrible and Devry, Roger, Marcus are 100X more watchable than dull characters. But good for him, with those looks and a few years of soap acting experience – producers love their work ethic – shine on.”

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Nikolas?

So far Marcus himself has not made any comments about the matter.
