Looking sharp and strong as ever before, Eric, who is best known for his role as Victor Braeden on the hit CBS soap, shared a photo from his hospital bed and captioned it with, “After knee replacement! Thinking of you all.” And of course, he had his fist pumped into the air as well, because why wouldn’t he?

Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for his fans and his followers to comment on his photo. Many of them wrote, “Get well soon, Eric.  I too need to undergo the same procedure but have been holding off.  Some of my friends have had major issues with the surgery in the recovery process while others have not.  Hopefully your physical rehabilitation goes well.  Prayers,” along with, “Keep moving. Friends who have had the surgery said that the more you move, there will be less scarring and better healing. Hope all goes well.”

Another fan wrote, “Frozen water bottles, about 2/3 full, work well in the cooler.  Don’t be a hero!  Take meds before you need them.  Do not drive until you are able to run away from a burning vehicle on your own.  Be patient.  Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery! Do exactly what the therapists tell you to do. The result will be worth it. I know because I had both knees replaced the same day 15 years ago.”

With that said, it’s been noted that Eric won’t be missing out on any episodes of The Young and the Restless and that’s because the cast and crew are currently on holiday break. Here’s hoping that Eric does have a speedy recovery and that fans will get to see him back in Genoa City by the new year. Fingers crossed.
