British Royal News says that if there’s one person who is breathing a huge sigh of relief this morning, it’s most definitely King Charles III. That’s because his wife Camilla Parker Bowles was seemingly spared from any attacks from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan. Instead, it seemed like the royal couple were going after Harry’s brother Prince William more than anyone else. Here’s what you need to know.
Thankfully, Camilla’s name was not even uttered during the last three episodes of Harry and Meghan. Instead, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex went into full detail about how disappointed they felt knowing that Prince William’s office was feeding the British press negative stories about his wife. Harry said that the royals did this in order to bury unfavorable stories about themselves. He also suggested that there were some people from his family that were jealous of all the attention Meghan was getting with her newfound popularity.
Harry even said, “William and I both saw what happened in our dad’s office and we made an agreement that we would never let that happen to our office. I would far rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game or business of trading and to see my brother’s office doing the same thing that we promised the two of us would never, ever drWo, that was heartbreaking.”
If that weren’t enough, Harry also said that his royal family members may never give him and Meghan the apology that they deserve. “I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology,” the Duke of Sussex says in Episode 6. “My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
