British Royal News says that this is going to get pretty ugly. In the lates trailer for the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex alleges that the royal family will do anything to protect his brother Prince William and of course, lie for him, but that they wouldn’t do the same for him and Meghan Markle. Here’s what you need to know.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse in the feud between Harry, Meghan, and the rest of the royal family, it just did. During the third trailer, Harry says, “They were happy to lie to protect my brother, but they were never willing to tell the truth about us.”
Meghan also says in the same trailer, “I wasn’t being thrown to the wolves, I was being fed to the wolves.”
Yikes. If that weren’t enough, Harry and Meghan hint that the royal family were recruiting people to disseminate false stories about the couple. In other words, this has become a full-scale PR war between Harry, Meghan, and the rest of the royals.
Sure enough, Twitter had a lot to say about the matter. Some comments have included, “Wow, can’t wait. Just love the Sussexes and am glad the truth is being told about the carnival of clowns their lives and how loyal Harry was betrayed by his faux brother Willnot (his real brother is Nacho) and the lying royal cesspool that fed the media against them,” along with, “I hope they move to on now and just as live their lives in USA. Be happy and make money some other way than this. The relationship with both their families is over and done. I can’t imagine them ever returning to UK now. Good luck to them but enough now. Enough.”
Another critic wrote, “I hope they announce that they won’t be using the Sussex titles anymore. Leave it to Archie to decide if he wants to be the next Duke. Take away those constant threats from the UK about stripping those titles. H&M don’t need titles to stay as impactful as they are.”
During the first volume of the series, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t make any personal jabs at the royals themselves, they did talk a lot about the supposed ‘invisible contract’ the royals have with the British press, some of the racism that Meghan Markle had endured while she was in the UK and also touched some on Britain’s colonist history.
