The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Elena Gives Nate A Warning– Showdown With Devon Tips The Scale

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a few harsh words for Nate Hastings, Jr (Sean Dominic) as he continues to battle with his cousin, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) wants Devon to be open to a conversation with Nate, but Devon refuses to entertain that notion.

On Monday’s (December 12) show, Lily advises Devon to find a way to make peace with Nate. She compared Nate’s betrayal to his cheating with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She asked him how his betrayal was any different than Nate’s. Devon didn’t have an answer but still refused to forgive Nate.

With Lily and Devon just an earshot away from Nate on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nate could overhear why Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) skipped town and broke up with Devon. The scoop would shock Nate, as Devon was so hurt when Elena cheated with him.

Nate could put this secret in his back pocket, fully intending to use it against his cousin if necessary. Y&R spoilers state that he would be hesitant to use it publicly, as Abby is a close friend, but he could use it to push his cousin’s buttons. It would definitely get a rise out of Devon.

Let’s assume Nate tells Elena the juicy secret. He could inform her that he plans to confront Devon about it, suggesting his betrayal is no worse than his. Elena won’t like the idea. She thinks Nate needs to avoid Devon and let him come to him when he is ready.

Elena won’t like Nate’s plan to use Devon’s cheating against him. She thinks it’s a bad idea and asking for trouble. However, Nate probably won’t care, as he thinks it’s time for Devon to forgive him for the Chancellor Winters betrayal.

Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of December 19 reveal that Elena will issue a warning to Nate. We have to assume that it has something to do with Nate and Devon’s showdown. She doesn’t want to be caught in the middle.
