General Hospital Spoilers: Liz Is Holding All The Cards In Her Hands

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, General Hospital Co-Head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor both say that while Liz is someone who would do anything for Nikolas, she’s not about to let him get away with this. The scribes put it this way, “Nikolas is Elizabeth’s closest friend in Port Charles. Together, they have been to hell and back. Still, aiding and abetting Esme’s imprisonment is not something she’d undertake under normal circumstances, even for Nikolas. THese are not normal circumstances. Esme hurt Elizabeth’s son Cameron grievously, she’s pregnant and willing to leverage her pregnant against Nikolas, and worst of all, she’s believed to be The Hook. Elizabeth may be white-knuckling it right now, but she has a firm grip on her decision and her motives. She aims to protect Nikolas, Esme’s baby, and all of Port Charles.”

General Hospital spoilers say that Finn spots a bottle of prenatal vitamins and once he spots a similar bottle in Liz’s hands, he puts two and two together. O’Connor says, “Finn is starting to put it all together and in a split second decision, she makes a Hail Mary play to preserve the secret she and Nikolas are keeping for the good of Port Charles. Liz must protect the secret she and Nikolas share. And she must give Finn reason to avoid Spoon Island. She does both at once – by making a shocking claim that will break Finn’s heart.”
