British Royal News: Sussex MP Calls Harry and Meghan ‘Deeply Embarrassing’

British Royal News suggests that it might be a very long time before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ever visit County Sussex ever again or even the UK for that matter. In fact, one Sussex MP is demanding that the royal couple lose their titles after branding their Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan “deeply embarrassing.” Here’s what you need to know.

Tim Loughton, who has represented East Worthing and Shoreham since 1997, went off on Harry and Meghan after watching their Netflix series. 

Loughton took to his Twitter account to write, “As a Member of Parliament for a Sussex constituency and having been born in Sussex and lived most of my life here I am ashamed that this deeply embarrassing couple bear the title of our great county. It is time to take the title back from someone so clearly lacking any respect.”

The MP was referencing a clip of Meghan Markle demonstrating how she was supposed to curtsy the first time that she met Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. And let’s just say that the moment didn’t go down very well with her critics.

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike did not hold back when it came to that cringey curtsy already seen around the world. Many of them took to social media to comment with, “All of it so disrespectful! Watching early this am, I was shocked! But then again we are talking about Meghan. When they first met, obviously Harry was blindsided and look at the mess now! It’s only going to get worse. Ugh…Sad,” along with, “Look at where Harry is looking. She’s demeaning his grandmother and he can’t watch it. Yeah you bow to royalty in this country. One who served from childhood from her dying days. You wouldn’t understand respect because you have none. And your husband’s face says it all.”

So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the criticism.
