It seems as though Phyllis’ obsession with trying to make Diane Jenkins pay for the crimes that she committed in her past might be putting her own family in danger. In fact, a lot of people, including Phylllis’ own daughter Summer Newman are none too pleased that she might have had something to do with sending Jeremy Stark over to the Abbott mansion. To make matters worse, Phyllis won’t even admit to it, even though Summer knows that her mother is lying to her face.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have taken to social media to weigh in on this storyline. Many of them commented with, “They were long done and over with. Phyllis has a temper and is revengeful. Even to the point when her grandson is involved and in danger. Poor Summer. And what a mother to put up with! And Daniel should be supporting his sister. And  he should stop being rude to Billy,” along with, “What I don’t understand is how a mother could look her daughter in the eyes and act like she had no idea what she’s talking about.  As a mom she could come clean and apologize and ask for forgiveness; but no, this woman is the lowest of the low.  Yes, we all know they dislike Diane for her deeds in the past, however each and every one of these women have had questionable past and have gotten a go pass.  I think this is more about the men in their lives who fell for Diane.”
