Days of Our Lives spoilers say that no one saw this coming but at the same time, they should have. After all, stuff like this happens in this fictional town of Salem all the time, right? Eric is sure not happy when he sees Nicole leaving the bar with EJ and he certainly won’t be happy when he finds out that they ended up in bed together! Here’s what you need to know.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Nicole Wakes Up In Bed With EJ

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Eric jumps to some hasty conclusions when he sees Nicole spending time with EJ and of course, the two men exchange words and before they know it, an altercation erupts. Shawn and Belle just so happened to be there and take Eric down to the police station while EJ takes Nicole home. To Niocle’s surprise, EJ offers to ask the DA to drop the charges against Eric.

Dan Feuerriegel, who plays EJ on the hit Peacock soap, puts it this way to the publication in a new interview, “EJ’s doing it for Nicole. He sees that she’s not doing the best. He’s not doing the best. He realizes that she doesn’t need this extra pressure.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers then say that Nicole accepts EJ’s offer for both her and Holly to stay with him. Dan explains, “It’s a combination of things. He’s familiar with Nicole. I’m sure there’s a deep, tuckered away love for her, too. He just wants to make sure she’s okay, and he’s probably lonely, as well. EJ just constantly craves connection, but he’s terrible at it.”

To complicate matters even more, EJ finds himself alone while he’s grieving Susan and before he knows it, someone very special arrives at his door. That’s right: EJ and Nicole shack up!
