The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Abby Newman is doing whatever she can to make her marriage to Chance Chancellor work, but it looks like nothing can repair the damage that she has done. Chance now believes there is no way in hell that he wants to continue being married to the Newman daughter after she ended up sleeping with her supposed ‘best friend’ Devon Hamilton. Here’s what you need to know.
While there’s no doubt that Abby and Devon have always been close as friends, they only got closer after Devon became her sperm donor so she could finally become a mother. After her son Dominic was born, Devon made it clear that he wanted to play a huge role in the boy’s life. After all, he is the baby daddy. This didn’t sit very well with Chance, who was already having a hard time bonding with the little tot. Three is a crowd no matter if it’s in a parenting relationship or when filled with romance, right?
Well, it seems like Abby and Chance’s marriage never really had a chance at survival to begin with. Soon after he returned home, Chance dealt with a lot of mental issues and while Abby tried to be there for him, nothing seemed to work. It seemed like Abby was only pushing him further away than bringing him closer to her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Abby is trying to do everything she can to fix what she did, Chance is not hearing it. But at the same time, she claims that it was just one mistake that she never plans on repeating ever again. This has prompted a lot of fans to ask: is Chance being too harsh on Abby? Or does she deserve getting dumped for what she did?
