British Royal News says it really doesn’t matter what she says or does at this point as her critics are going to slam her in one way or another. A lot of people are putting the blame on Meghan Markle for stealing Prince William and Kate Middleton’s thunder during their tour of Boston by dropping the trailer for her and Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary at the same time. Here’s what you need to know.
“Why did you want to make this documentary?” they’re asked in the trailer, followed by a series of photos of the couple in both public and private moments. “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors,” Prince Harry is heard saying. “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
Meghan then adds, “When the stakes are this high doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for many royal fans and critics alike to take to social media to comment on the matter. Some of them said, “Did we expect anything less from them! Especially as Prince & Princess of Wales are in the US! It always happens when another Royal is taking away their limelight!” along with, “Oh my gosh. This looks worse than I thought in many ways. Why would they release all these personal pictures and moments when they want all their privacy? Actually, I would be more interested in their previous staff telling their story in front of a camera. I have heard these two tell their story a lot over the past two years, each time saying they need to ‘tell their story’ as if they already haven’t.”
Another critic wrote, “They wanted to make this for money, dropped it on the day Prince William and Kate Middleton were in The USA. They should give back their titles since the hate the RF so much. Also pay most of the fee to the royal charities in film. Used all the horses, pomp bling of RF. This too should be banned.”
And then there was this comment, “It might just be me…but who else is finding this transatlantic feud between two brothers not just tiresome but truly sordid. Shame on both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who hasn’t a kind bone in her body!!!”
