The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this really shouldn’t surprise anyone, but it looks like Sally Spectra just isn’t sure if reuniting with Adam Newman is a good idea. While there’s no doubt that the chemistry between them is still most certainly there, she’s still hung up on his brother Nick Newman, too. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Courtney Hope, who plays Sally on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “She’s a bag of mixed emotions. She really does want to start fresh and she does like Nick, but she can’t help but feel frustrated. She really is trying to move on and then Adam asks her to marry him. For Sally, it’s like pouring salt in a wound that’s trying to heal, so it’s like this multilayered kind of pain that she’s going through.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers also say that Adam is being pretty pushy about the matter and says that the one reason why they should be together is because they love each other. He thinks it’s as simple as that. But for Sally, she just can’t help but wonder if there’s more to it. She doesn’t know if she’s being used or if she’s going into this relationship again for all of the right reasons.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Sally And Adam?

Courtney further explained, “Then he gives her this ‘I told you so’ smile and that makes her even angrier. She’s really irritated about it because she’s like, ‘I knew that you knew, but I didn’t want to admit to it.’ She wants to lay everything out in the open and it’s such a roulette wheel of emotions, but she feels she needs to vent so she can move on from Adam.”
