The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that if there’s one person who is utterly confused about what he should do next, it’s most definitely Ridge Forrester. He’s about to marry the love of his life (or at least the woman that he thinks is the love of his life), just to find out that the other love of his life hasn’t been lying to him and being deceitful to him at all. Here’s what you need to know.
After Steffy Forrester revealed that it was Thomas Forrester who had called Child Protection Services to the Forrester Mansion and not Brooke Logan, as it was earlier presumed, Ridge is thunderstruck. This all of course happens on the day that he’s supposed to marry Taylor Hayes. Of course, he’s now having second thoughts over the entire ordeal as he’s unsure if he wants to go forward with the wedding, seeing how it’s all because of a lie that his son told.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “That’s a big deal. Talk about betrayal. Ridge and Brooke have been together for the last 35 years, one and off, that’s always been the endgame. I think for him to walk away from her to be with someone else, it was a big deal, thinking he knew everything. But now, of course, he feels betrayed because he left her for something that wasn’t her fault. So that’s a hard one. That’s a tough one.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Ridge certainly has some choice words for his son, Thomas. Thorsten says, “We’ve been there before, where Thomas does something, but this whole past six months, eight months, you just feel like he was getting better. He wasn’t with mannequins anymore, and it seemed like everything was going to be great. To see that he would do this and he would lie to his dad, when he knew how much Ridge wanted to be with Brooke, and then he was caught in the middle? His phone call is the thing that changed everything.”
