General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Refuses To Give Esme A Hand In Her Escape

General Hospital spoilers say that for Elizabeth, she’s been there, done that so many times that she knows better than get herself involved in someone else’s dirty business. Of course, we are talking about Elizabeth as she is refusing to help Esme with her escape, even though she is pregnant and trapped and increasingly alarmed over what might happen next to her at any given moment. Avery Pohl, who plays Esme on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “Esme is really working the sympathy and empathy angle. She’s well aware of the fact that Cameron’s mom is a nurse, so she’s trying to appeal to her woman to woman, and as someone who is about to be a mom to someone who is a mom with three kids. Esmse wants to get out of this tower; she’s grasping at straws, but she’s also coming from a genuine place with Liz because she is so desperate. She’s pregnant, she’s terrified, she’s alone.”

General Hospital spoilers say that unfortunately, things don’t get any better for Esme. Her hopes are dashed when she realizes that Liz is siding more with Nikolas Cassadine than with her! Avery says that her character is definitely disappointed. She said, “She’s like, ‘I know I’ve done terrible things, but look at this scenario! No one deserves to be treated this way.’”

That said, Liz does give Esme a supply of prenatal vitamins and stresses the importance of taking them, but Esme doesn’t show any gratitude in return. Avery adds, “Esme is too immature and upset to see that Liz is actually trying to help her. She is like, ‘If you are willing to help me in this capacity, why won’t you help me get out?’”
