No, it’s not the Hallmark Channel, but it’s close to it. The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley, who was best known for his role as Adam Newman, is starring in a brand new holiday film for Netflix. Here’s what you need to know!
According to new reports, Justin is staring in a movie called The Noel Diary. It’s based on a book by the same name by Richard Paul Evans. The Noel Diary stars the former soap star as Jacob Turner, a successful novelist who gets a surprising phone call around the holidays from his estranged mother’s lawyer informing him that she’s passed away.
“Can’t wait for you all to see this movie” Justin wrote on Instagram.
If that weren’t enough, Justin is also starring in a new series called The Never Game. It is based off Jeffrey Deaver’s novel and Justin plays a character by the name of Colter Shaw. He is described as a “lone-wolf survivalist who uses his skills as a tracker to help citizens and law enforcement solve mysteries.”
Meanwhile, Justin’s wife and fellow The Young and the Restless alum Sofia Pernas seems to be keeping rather busy, too. According to reports, Sofia will be headed to Blood and Treasure Season 2 on Paramount+, where she will be reprising her role as art thief Lexi Vaziri. How exciting! As many fans can recall, Sofia played Marisa on The Young and the Restless. It’s without a doubt that they will be excited to see her back on the small screen.
Sofia has surely been making a lot of headlines ever since she got with Justin Hartley. As many fans can recall, Justin Hartley pulled the plug on his marriage to hi ex-wife Chrishell Stause back in November of 2019. Soon after, he connected with Sofia again and two began dating during the first quarter of 2020, when most of the world was in lockdown because of COVID-19. And since then, it’s been nothing but bliss for Justin and Sofia, as they officially tied the knot back in March of this year.
