General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Wants Answers Spinelli Struggles to Give Her

General Hospital spoilers reveal Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has been in love with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) in one form or another for years. At times, she has returned his feelings. She will always see him as the amazing father he is to their daughter, but Maxie hasn’t looked at Spinelli as more than that for a very long time. So she doesn’t understand why he suddenly has a problem with her taste in men or her relationship with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). As Maxie continues to demand answers, Spinelli will continue to spit out world salad and buy himself more time.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spinelli and Maxie’s Backstory

The pair didn’t have a very traditional start to coupledom. Rather, Maxie was trying to become a surrogate for Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when she thought he was miscarrying their baby after she started having cramps. Heartbroken, she ran to Spinelli seeking comfort, and they ended up having a one-night stand. That evening produced Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), and Maxie and Spinelli tried to make a go of a relationship together for years, but it just didn’t fit.

GH Spoilers Indicate Spinelli Has a Secret

Spinelli put Maxie’s information into his Society Setups algorithm and ran it to see who Maxie’s perfect match might be. He was shocked to find out that he and Maxie pair so well together on paper, and he hasn’t been able to let go of the idea of a happily ever after for them ever since. However, Maxie has been seeing Austin for some time now, and the more Spinelli pushes back against the idea of Austin, the more Maxie seems to dig her heels into that relationship.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Perfect Pair

Recently, Austin asked Spinelli a favor. He too wants to know if he and Maxie pair well, as per Society Setups. Spinelli has been giving Austin the runaround and trying to avoid actually comparing their profiles in the system. A bigger hurdle is on the horizon though. When Maxie finds out that Austin asked this of Spinelli behind her back, she’s going to be furious.

She might even call off the relationship altogether. While that’s everything Spinelli has been hoping for, he will struggle to keep it to himself that he did the same thing. That won’t be the answer Maxie was looking for.
