British Royal News: Did Meghan Markle Try To Fake A British Accent On Her Podcast?

British Royal News says that while we have definitely heard this before. There are some people out there who think that Meghan Markle is faking her British accent during her podcast. Even though she now lives in California with her husband Prince Harry, there are some critics who think there’s a hint of a posh accent coming from the Duchess of Sussex’s mouth each time she speaks. Here’s what you need to know.

While speaking to Hollywood actress Jameela Jamil on her Archetypes podcast, some people think that the Duchess of Sussex might have put on a little bit of an accent when she said ‘Ello’ rather than ‘Hello’ to greet her guest. Yet, according to a transcript of the episode, it’s Jameela who says “Ello,” with Meghan replying, “Hello, my friend. How are you doing?”

But because a day doesn’t go by that Meghan Markle doesn’t get criticized for the things that she does and says, Twitter did their thing by calling her out for ‘fake’ British accent. Interestingly enough, during their episode together, Jameela pointed out how unfair it is for Meghan to get criticized for everything that she does.

British Royal News: Is Meghan Getting Criticized Too Much?

“It’s an unfathomable amount of s— that you take, Meghan. I can’t believe it,” she said. “And I fought back on your behalf for years before I’d ever met you because I was so outraged by the twisting of this very normal, very kind, very civilized woman. That demonization just shows how afraid they are of you.”

“I’m so sorry you’ve had to withstand it,” Jameela continued. “It has highlighted for us the intense unkindness and bigotry and misogyny of our media. And I think and I hope and I feel faith that the tides are changing because so many of us are fighting back.”

So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the matter, but at this point it’s doubtful that she will. Then again, there will probably be another critic who will have something to gripe about her next week, too.
