Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Tabyana Ali, who plays Trina on the hit ABC soap, explains, “When Cameron talks to her about the letter, it’s definitely a shock. I think it’s just a moment of clarity for her to, like, see what her feelings really are, even though he’s done so much stuff that’s made her wary. I think hearing that there was more to the letter than she thought kind of opens her eyes a bit. And her goal in going to see him is to just get whatever is off the table! I think the letter gives her a reason to go see him but I don’t think it’s necessarily the only thing that she wants to address. There’s a lot to cover throughout their relationship and what it means to them now. She just needs to see what’s going on with him.”

General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of fans will note that this is the first time that fans will get to see Trina and Spencer share scenes together since September, outside of the fantasy that she had while she was with Rory.

Speaking about all of the love that she’s been getting from Sprina fans, Tabyana said, “I appreciate the Sprina fans so much and I’m really in the boat with them.” She also understands that something is going to happen sooner or later between her character and Spencer. She added, “I’m like, ‘How are you all not combusting? The tension is so thick between them and it’s very hard to ignore. So one of them is going to have to say something eventually.”
