The Young and the Restless spoilers say that things are looking pretty bleak between Abby and Chance right now, but that really shouldn’t surprise anyone seeing how she did sleep with Devon. However, it looks like Abby is still refusing to give up on their marriage, despite what she did. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby Newman on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “She tells Chance she will try anything to make it up to him, even though she knows that there’s nothing she can do to make it right. This was the worst kind of betrayal and it will be really, really difficult to come back from that.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say to make matters worse, Chance thinks that there is only one solution and that’s for Abby to be with Devon. Of course, this leaves her absolutely horrified.
Melissa continues, “Devon is just a good friend. There are no feelings between them. They made a huge mistake.”
That said, Chance continues to list all of the issues that they have had, which includes the trouble he had connecting with Abby and Dominic after he came back home from Spain. He also threw himself into his work in order to avoid reality. Melissa adds, “He’s basically saying that their marriage is just too flawed to work. Abby isn’t throwing in the towel. She’s ready to fight for her family.”
It seems like that’s going to be one very difficult fight for her as Chance has surely made up his mind. One can only wonder what Devon has to say about this, right?
