The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Fans Want to See Some Changes Made With Phyllis Summers

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that a lot of fans keep saying the same thing and that is they want to see a little change in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Now, that’s not to say that things are going horribly wrong for her, but there certainly is a lot of room for improvement. Here’s what you need to know.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans and critics alike took to their social media accounts to weigh in on the matter. Some comments with, “Please give Michelle Stafford a comedy storyline of her own. She is becoming unwatchable she ham’s it up in every scene now. Send Phyllis out of town for a while. Send her to B&B let clown around over there she will fit right in,” along with, “I’ve been saying it since the actress returned. How does someone who played Phyllis, knows Phyllis, made Phyllis someone to reckon with AND turn her into a loud obnoxious cartoon? Every time she argues she leans in. The lines she is given to get one over on Diane need her to be wearing a cartoon villain mustache so she can twirl the ends and laugh.”

Another fan wrote, “It happens to even the best actors. They no longer do the work. They get comfortable. When MS first started on this soap, it was supposed to be like 6 weeks or something. She even talked about how nervous she was and all. But now, she’s very comfortable and knows she can get be lazy and just enjoy herself and her job security. I say this as a fan of Stafford. She knows better.”

And then there was this comment, “She has become a plot device and not a character. Sad cuz she’s so great.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Does Phyllis Need To Tone Things Down?

So far Michelle Stafford herself hasn’t made any comments about the matter, but it will be interesting to see what direction her character goes in the coming weeks and months ahead. Watch this space.
