British Royal News says that you are going to have to work a little harder to get rid of him from the social scene! There’s a new report that suggests Prince Andrew refuses to just go away and that he plans on having a very busy holiday season that will include plenty of shooting parties. Here’s what you need to know.
Just like that itch that refuses to go away, it seems like the Duke of York is here to stay. One source close to the Daily Beast says Andrew isn’t the social pariah some people are making him out to be. ONe source says, “The friends who have always invited him shooting will continue to invite him, he will still be allowed to play. I would be extremely surprised if Charles withdrew his permission to host a couple of days at the royal estates, and all those people will have to ask him back, so I am sure he will be as busy socially as he has ever been.”
The tipster added, “Some people like to bathe in his title and I am sure they will continue to want to do so. The fact of what he may have done 25 years ago is really not relevant to that. The much more remarkable thing to me is that he has ever had any friends at all, because he is an arrogant twat of ocean-going proportions. But I certainly wouldn’t flounce out of a shoot if he turned up. He wasn’t found guilty of anything, and there is still a presumption of innocence in this country.”
The insider also went on to say that Andrew certainly isn’t a recluse these days, either. He also wants to desperately come back in the public eye. Omid Scobie wrote in his Yahoo post last month, “It was reported that Charles is considering rewriting the 85-year-old Regency Act to exclude non-working members of the Royal Family – meaning Andrew, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice would be off the list. There is every reason extra effort is going into ensuring Andrew remains out of sight. While his fall from grace began with his friendship with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and convicted trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, it crescendoed with his multi-million settlement to Virginia Giuffre after she filed a civil case alleging him of sexually assaulting her as a teenager.”
