General Hospital spoilers say that it’s doubtful that any father would really do this. But when it comes to this fictional world of Port Charles, fans have certainly seen worse things. Valentin Cassadine is being forced to choose between his daughter and his lover. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
After reuniting with his daughter Charlotte in Switzerland, he finds out that Anna has been arrested back home in Port Charles. While Valentin is certainly enjoying his time with his daughter after being separated for so many long months, his situation becomes quite complicated when he learns that Anna is behind bars and that she is being accused of killing Lucy.
This means that he can choose between one of two things: he can either stay in Switzerland and try to bring Charlotte back home or he can quickly travel back to Port Charles and try to save Anna before it’s too late.
Needless to say, many General Hospital fans have weighed in on this storyline on social media. Some comments have included, “Valentin, Anna is a grown woman with the support of practically everyone back home in PC. Charlotte only has you. Go get your baby girl. This shouldn’t even be a question and as a father Valentin should know exactly what to do,” along with, “Exactly. Part of this is his obsession with her and the fact that he finally got the girl he has desired for decades…since he was a young man. Anna might or might not be there tomorrow but Charlotte is always going to need her daddy.”
Another critic said, “Kid should always outweigh girlfriend in terms of safety (and many other things). The fact that Valentin is even thinking about going to Port Charles to help Anna is mind boggling. She’s a grown up and it’s not like she hasn’t been in this before.”
