General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Realizes That He’s Fallen Into A Trap

General Hospital spoilers say that if there’s one person who just can’t catch a break, it’s most definitely Valentin Cassadine, right? According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Valentin enjoys a happy moment when he reunites with Charlotte in Switzerland but everything turns sour the moment he finds out that Anna has been arrested back at home in Genoa City. General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin Realizes That He’s Fallen Into A Trap

While Valentin is certainly enjoying his time with his daughter after being separated for so many long months, his situation becomes quite complicated when he learns that Anna is behind bars and that she is being accused of killing Lucy. 

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor James Patrick Stuart, who plays Valentin on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “Anna is his love, and in that moment, he’s definitely in a predicament, because he is simultaneously trying to figure out how he can keep Charlotte safe but also figure out a way to go and rescue his lady. Valentine wants to get Anna out of danger, but at the same time, he has to figure out what he can do about the Charlotte situation, because who knows when he will get to see her again.”

General Hospital spoilers say that soon enough, Valentin realizes that it was Victor behind Anna’s arrest and that he was also behind his detour to Switzerland. James continues, “He realizes that it has been, in fact, a setup all along, but not the one he thought it was. And I think he is, quite rightly, furious. The question is, have the stars aligned and have they laid a foundation where he can take on Dad?”

That said, Valentin finds himself rushing back to Port Charles before it’s too late. However, he ends up attacking the guard, who soon gets the upper hand. James adds, “Valentine really needs someone to come to his rescue. And someone surprisingly does.”
