General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Already Knows… He’s a Cassadine

General Hospital spoilers reveals Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has been hard at work since the moment he crash landed in the Metro Court Hotel pool. It was no accident. Cody didn’t book a gig that just happened to take him to Port Charles where much of his past awaited him. He was headed there intentionally to link up with one person in particular — whoever happened to be Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) next of kin. In this case, it’s Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). She was the first person whose feathers he ruffled and that was on purpose. So was the next step he made.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spinelli Was Always a Target; Mac Was a Misstep

When Cody approached Spinelli about hooking him up with Britt, he used the information he had gleaned on his illegal acts behind the scenes at Society Setups to get a solid latch on Britt. She put up a good fight, but he’s since charmed his way into her orbit. Although, fans do suspect Britt might have a nagging feeling about Cody that something still isn’t right.

However, Cody’s interactions with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) probably were not premeditated. Cody has had to pretend he doesn’t know his ancestry, because it’s imperative he keeps it a secret while chasing after the birthright he’s in town for — a necklace!

GH Spoilers Indicate Takes One to Know One

When Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) sat down with Spinelli and found out the dire straits he was in, she didn’t hesitate to offer him her help. After all, how many times has Spinelli saved Sam from herself, as well as the danger of others? Sam knew going into this she wouldn’t be able to tell her boyfriend, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) the truth about what Spinelli has been up to, and that it would put him in a bad position — professionally — if he found out. So for now, she’s doing everything in her power to make sure he doesn’t.

On the other hand, Cody may not see things that way. Will knowing Dante is in the dark be the next piece of leverage he uses — and will it be against Sam this time? What might she be able to help him gain access to? Whatever it is, it won’t surprise Sam when Cody comes knocking. A former con artist herself, Sam is highly suspicious of Cody’s behavior and feels the con is coming in time.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody Feels Entitled

It’s all about the necklace. Cody is a Cassadine, and it’s quite possible he’s been brought to Port Charles to chase this necklace at the behest of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy). Cody has been pushing Britt to tend to Peter’s last effects for good reason — he suspected a very valuable necklace belonging to the Cassadine queen herself, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), would be in it. He was right. Now that he knows the necklace is in safe keeping at the bank, he will be angling for how he can gain access to it without Britt’s help. That’s where Cody having Sam over a barrel might come into play.
