The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Can’t See What’s Coming – Push For Hope Doomed?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) believes step one of his plan is accomplished. But Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is not demoralized after her apparent defeat. That feels purposeful as it relates to Thomas.

Projecting arrogance, Thomas already has elements of the second part of his scheme in place. Moving to his grandfather’s house with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was intended to help lure Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) there, and it worked.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is rationalizing Hope’s overnight stays, which include their daughter, Kelly Spencer (Remington Blaire Evans), at the Forrester mansion. But viewers know that scenario is being written to likely create a moment of choice for Hope.

Liam was allowed to go back and forth between Hope and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), her name before marrying John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), for years. Steffy finally had to tell Liam to leave her and marry Hope. He complied.

Hope is deepening her involvement with Thomas due to his manipulation. Liam told himself that was going to happen, as devoted viewers recall. So, why is he allowing Hope to go to the Forrester mansion with him?

Thomas’ ability to operate would be lessened if Liam told Hope that he wanted to go with her to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) home whenever she felt the need to be with Douglas. Not doing so provides Thomas with an opening he wants and will take.

Hope would be furious if she knew that Thomas framed her mother. But she does not know, which repeats a pattern of her naivete being part of storylines.

Noelle’s character is being written into somewhat unbelievable territory. Viewers must be asking themselves why Hope would so easily believe that Thomas has no romantic intentions toward her since he recently said she is the only woman for him.

Hope seemingly seeing Thomas in an emerging romantic light sets the soapy stage for her violating Liam’s trust.

How incredible it would be, yet just, if Thomas is the cause of his own downfall. It seems that Hope could slowly come to see Atkinson’s character as more than a co-parent.

But TPTB can throw the ace at any plot point by having Hope become aware of Thomas’ fake digital call to Child Services. So, unless Hope breaks her vows by going way over the line with Thomas, she would be able to stop herself once the truth is out on B&B.
