British Royal News says that it’s a moment that a lot of people have been waiting for. The cover for Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare, has been released. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
The cover of Spare is a close up of Prince Harry staring straight into the camera. The title refers to the Duke of Sussex and his older brother Prince William, who is the next in line for King Charles III’s throne. According to reports, Penguin Random House released a statement on Thursday that said, “SPARE, the highly anticipated #PrinceHarryMemoir, will be published globally on January 10, 2023.”
It also includes a caption that reads, “We are excited to bring to readers everywhere the remarkably personal and emotionally powerful story of Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex. For Harry, this is his story at last.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for Prince Harry’s critics and detractors to say something about this book. One of his biggest critics, Piers Morgan, took to his Twitter account to write, “Prince Privacy will hurl his latest torrent of malevolent money-making muck at the Royal Family just in time to ruin his father’s coronation as King. Charles should strip this petulant, selfish, greedy, hypocritical brat of all his remaining royal titles/status ASAP.”
And while a lot of people sure as slamming the Duke of Sussex for even writing the book, there’s a very good chance that it’s going to turn out to be a bestseller – mostly because everyone will want to read what Harry has to say about his life as a royal and the new life that he is leading now. Also, for a lot of royal fans and observers, the release date is quite interesting as it’s a day after Kate Middleton’s birthday, which lands on January 9th. Interestingly enough, Megxit was announced on January 8, 2000. Clearly, the Duke and Duchess are fixated around that date, right?
