British Royal News says you know the press will be talking about this on both sides of the pond for many, many months after its release. There’s a new report that says a release date has been set for Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir and that it’s right around the corner, too. Here’s what you need to know.

The New York Times wrote on Wednesday, “After months of frenzied speculation, the book has a publication date: Jan. 10, 2023, according to industry executives.” 

For a lot of royal fans and observers, the date is quite interesting as it’s a day after Kate Middleton’s birthday, which lands on January 9th. Interestingly enough, Megxit was announced on January 8, 2000. Clearly, the Duke and Duchess are fixated around that date, right?

Back in September, it was being reported that Harry was being pressured to revise his memoir out of respect for his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. One source close to the situation said, “Is Harry taking out anything potentially bad he wrote about [William, Charles and Camilla] now? Who knows what will change. He would never write anything bad about the Queen. He always has had the utmost love and respect for her.”

What’s more, royal expert Tom Bower, who wrote the book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors,” believes that the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming book feels like a ticking time bomb for the royals.

British Royal News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

“I think that everybody knows that the Sussexes can’t amend the book in any way,” he opines. “Can they make it nastier? Because otherwise, we wouldn’t get sales.”

Bower added that the book should come out sometime during Easter and that it will also include a chapter on Queen Elizbeth’s funeral.

“And there’ll just be more material about how they were snubbed and all the rest of the invective against the royal family,” he adds. “So I think to that extent, the delay will add to the poison.”
