General Hospital Spoilers: So Is Carly Corinthos Really A Different Person Now?

General Hospital spoilers say that for Carly Corinthos, it might be out with the old and in with the new. At least, when it comes to the way she is now going to view her life as she knows it. As many fans know, when Carly found herself stranded in her hometown of Jacksonville, she couldn’t get out of there fast enough. But at the same time she also faced some of her demons and because of it, she’s looking at things much differently now than ever before. At least, that’s what her portrayer Laura Wright believes. Here’s what she has to say.

General Hospital Spoilers: So Is Carly Corinthos Really A Different Person Now?

In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, Laura, who has been playing Carly for years, says that this is going to be a time for growth for her character. She tells the publication, “When she goes home, you’ll see a new side to her. We’ll see for how long! She still is who she is. She’s still a scrapper, she still won’t take stuff from anyone, and she is still a mama bear, protective of her family.”

“But this is something that was like divine intervention,” she continued. “She had no intention whatsoever of ending up in Jacksonville, but she did. This all fell into her lap, and there are no accidents.”

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Carly?

Now, as  far as her relationship with Drew is concerned, Laura admits that things will take an interesting turn for Carly. “She says to him that he was someone she could talk to about this and talk through it with,” Laura explained. “She didn’t need to be coddled or carried. He stood by her side throughout this and was extremely supportive and very honest and I think she is going to home with no shame, you know?”
