The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while there’s no doubt that these two are very close, it looks like they are about to get even closer.. While waiting for Chance at the Glam Club, Abby hangs out with Devon, who tells her about all the problems he’s been having with Nate. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Devon And Abby Get Closer

According to Soap Opera Digest, Devon tells Abby that Nate told him that he was too tied to the idea of executing Neil’s vision. That’s when Abby gives him a fresh perspective on things. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Bryton James, who plays Devon on the hit CBS soap, says, “Abby actually asks if there might be any truth to that, and the fact that she brings it up makes Devon take a deeper look at how he’s been treating Nate. Neil was always supportive when he and Devon had their partnership, so maybe it’s true that Devon is hesitant to share his dad’s legacy.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that even though Devon gets what Abby is saying, he feels as though he’s in the right for firing Nate from Chancellor-Winters. Bryton explains, “Trust is very important to Devon and you just don’t intentionally screw over your family.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Chase Get Jealous?

That said, Abby places a sympathetic hand on Devon’s shoulder and before you know it, it looks like the two are sharing an intimate moment together. That’s when Chance decides to enter the room. Bryton previews, “Devon and Abby are close friends who always have each other’s back. However, will Chance think they are getting too close?”

Clearly, someone has some explaining to do. Let’s hope that Chance gives Abby a chance to explain that she was simply being a friend to Devon and nothing more.
