The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there weren’t enough things to argue about, they can add this to their list, too. Nick Newman and Victoria Newman are going to butt heads over his little situation with Sally Spectra. And that’s not because she doesn’t think they should date, but because she has every reason not to believe that she shouldn’t have any trust in the fashion designer. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Nick is left quite upset when he finds out that Victoria still has plans to replace Sally with Nate. Joshua Morrow, who plays Nick on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “I think the genesis of this is Victoria doesn’t truly trust Sally and still believes she isn’t qualified for the job. But it really pivots into Victoria viewing this as a great opportunity to put Nate in Sally’s spot, which also serves as a vehicle for Victoria to get rid of Sally.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick also makes a point to tell Victoria that Sally has been nothing but loyal to the Newman family. But that doesn’t seem to matter much to Victoria. She’s got her mind made up and nothing is going to change it at this point.
Morrow explains, “As ambitious as Sally is, she didn’t take advantage of the whole Ashland mess to further her career by running an in-depth story about him. Nick sees Sally as a valuable part of Newman Enterprises and she hasn’t done anything to warrant getting replaced – especially by someone like Nate. Nick thinks it’s a mistake for Victoria to give so much power and trust to someone who has stabbed his own family in the back. The Winters family is very close to the Newmans, but Victoria is only thinking about the business aspect and not the humane element.”
