The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Douglas Forrester is a little boy who surely shouldn’t be going through a lot of things that he’s been going through lately. In fact, it seems like Liam Spencer is the latest adult in Douglas’s life that thinks it’s a good idea to manipulate him. Even though Douglas wants to spend more time with his father Thomas Forrester, Liam tells the kid that he should come back home. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Liam goes to the Forrester mansion and asks Douglas to return to the cabin with him. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Scott Clifton, who plays Liam on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “Liam is impatient with Hope placating Thomas. Liam perceives the whole thing as a hostage situation. Thomas is going everything to make it a super duper fun time over there, like it’s Disneyland. Thomas has arranged that if Hope wants to see her adopted son, she needs to come there, even though there was never a decision made. Liam points out that they never agreed to that!”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Liam is also none too pleased that Hope and Thomas are rather close these days, too. Scott says, “Hope would stay to have dinner and then, lo and behold, Hope starts spending the night, and brings Beth over. Yes, she has her own bedroom but now Liam believes that Thomas is simulating this nuclear family and is living out this fantasy.”
That said, Liam decides to take matters into his own hands and speaks to Douglas. Scott previews, “He sees Douglas playing chess with Eric. Thomas is not around, and Liam asks, ‘When are you coming back to the cabin? Liam doesn’t mention CPS or the knife. He just wants to know how Douglas feels. He’s not sure what to expect.”
