She’s clearly had considerable time to mull his offer over. Why is she still hesitant to commit to a simple couple’s getaway? What’s the worst that could happen?

It’s hard to fall out of love with someone, especially when you never really got to show them how you feel about them. A missed opportunity in love is painful. Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) have passed one another like two ships in the night, with so many feelings under the surface going unspoken.

Trina tried to catch up with Spencer before he was locked up for three months at Pentonville, but she missed him. The two potential lovebirds are now living very separate lives — with his being behind bars — and neither of them are handling it very well. Is Trina just feeling bad about leading Rory on, albeit having good intentions? Perhaps her hesitation to go away with him is because she knows she’d rather be anywhere with Spencer.

GH Spoilers Tease Her Instincts are a Bigger Problem

Maybe it’s not guilt that has Trina feeling like she should say no to Rory. Maybe it’s her gut. Months of lying to herself has led Trina to not being able to easily recognize those instincts anymore. Will she tune back into them in time before something terrible happens?

Rumor has it Rory is going to get his way and Trina will reluctantly put on a smile and head off into the sunset with him for a long weekend away. But while they are gone, things are going to take a turn for the worse, and Rory will show Trina a side of himself she never imagined could exist. Rory is tired of giving his all to Trina and still only being second-best in her eyes. He wants her to forget about Spencer, and if he can’t have Trina, then maybe he will think no one should. It’s possible that Rory has been The Hook this entire time, and Trina is next up on his hit list.

Trina isn’t used to being the damsel in distress. With Spencer in jail, he’s definitely not going to be able to save Trina from anyone. That is, unless his uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) pulls some strings again to get him out on an informal day pass. Let’s hope not!

Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is Trina’s father. He will most certainly be at Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) side when the news breaks that Trina is in trouble. Will her daughter’s brush with death be enough cause to make Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) come out with the truth — that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is actually Trina’s biological dad? Or might Jordan take it upon herself to do so when she finds out Trina’s in trouble and Curtis wants to help? Either way, it looks like this storyline is about to heat up with Trina at the center of it.
