Steve took to his Instagram account to write, “For a long time I was the best version of my LIMITED self. A lot of that had to do with self belief and negative self talk and then add in some bad habits. And we wonder why we get stuck on the hamster wheel. No one blocks us from our full potential except for us. You can break through, break bad habits..reprogram so to speak..Start to reach your full potential, maybe find some clarity or just find peace..Sounds difficult? I’m not gonna lie.. it takes work. Like anything else.”

He then added, “But ANYTHING worth having takes effort. And I’ll say YOU are worth it. No self investment-no self worth. We have limited time here. Let’s make the most of it. Work mind, body and spirit daily and the doors will open.”

Meanwhile, there’s some speculation that Steve might not be returning to Salem anytime soon. While a lot of fans were hoping that Steve’s big comeback to the soap world would have been an extended one, it doesn’t look like that’s the case at all. That’s because other than the few short episodes that Steve filmed for Beyond Salem, he hasn’t done very much at all. Could this mean that his soap career is truly over now?

Days of Our Lives News: What’s Next For Steve?

Back in July, there was some speculation that fans were going to see more of Steve on the canvas in the coming months ahead. Many fans have even weighed in on the matter on social media and have made comments such as, “Steve Burton is the best thing right now on daytime television. Days of Our Lives would be making a very huge mistake by not bringing him on full-time.”
