According to Omid Scobie, who writes a column about all things royal for Yahoo, he hints that it was unfair how Meghan Markle was treated so poorly by her royal critics while other people, like Mike Tindall and Prince Andrew, get away with things that are deemed much worse. He writes, “If the wrong nail polish color once had the protocol police bringing back the Salem Witch Trials, surely a royal family member eating raw kangaroo anus on reality TV for a cheque should result in a full on media meltdown. Right?”

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike also weighed in on the matter. Some comments have included, “Not to mention how Mike regularly dishes on Royals behind closed doors, the hypocrites are ok with him and others selling access to Russians, selling milk to Chinese..et but have a problem with H&M even after paying back renovation of a gifted leased crown owned property,” along with, “Their lack of outrage proves that it was never about protocol or cashing in.. They think the biracial duchess is less deserving of stability, love, & protection. They were promised that H&M would end up broke & divorced but instead they have to live in misery seeing H&M thriving.”
