Summer recently made waves when she stood up to Sally Spectra and basically told her to back off from the Newman men. But is Summer really in a position to say something like that? And would someone like Sally even listen to her? That’s what viewers can’t help but wonder.

Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans couldn’t help but weigh in on the matter on social media. Some comments have included, “NO NO AND NO Absolutely Not !!! I don’t want Adam and Sally the father daughter pairing together and Summer should stop her uncle from getting together with Sally,” along with, “You realize that Adam is Nick’s MUCH YOUNGER brother, right?? He’s a lot more age appropriate and closer in age to Sally, not that it should matter, ffs. Summer should tell her UNCLE not to date Sally, but it’s ok if her older than Adam Dad does?!”

Another critic wrote, “I am happy they are diving into Sally V Summer again. They need that type of rivalry. But I do wish for all of Nick’s SAINTLY personna that he sees ‘ewww, I’m dating a woman old enough to be my daughter’s sister.’ So he decides to WISE UP AND NOT HE A GROSS OLD MAN and tells Sally to go to his younger brother because she truly loves him, and he loves her.”
