Well, it seems like she’s been forced to shift the way that she operates now that Tucker’s presence in Genoa City has given her quite the headache. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Diane visits Jack in his office and asks if he has any doubts about the past life that she used to have about Tucker. And of course, she also does her best to blame Phyllis for Jack’s sudden change of heart about her, too. Because why wouldn’t she, right? It’s always easy to blame Phyllis for everyone’s problems.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Co-Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith puts it this way, “This tactic has previously worked well for Diane, so she’s caught off guard when Jack puts on the brakes and reminds Diane of her own lies and deceit in the past.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that after leaving Jack’s office, Diane has a run in with Phyllis. She tells Diane that Talia is looking to dig a little deeper about her history with Tucker, much to her dismay.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Diane?

Griffith continues, “Diane has suffered a major setback with Jack and Kyle because of their suspicions about Tucker. The last thing Diane wants is to lose control of the situation. She realizes she needs to up her game and build a defense before she loses the life she has fought so hard to reclaim.”
