Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actor Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter on the hit CBS soap, admits that he felt like he got hit with a ton of bricks when Quinn left him, and especially after everything they went through. He said, “One day, it was everything he dreamed of and in one instance, it’s done. It’s over. Quinn is gone and he doesn’t know why. He’s trying to wrap his brain around it and deal with this huge amount of heartbreak and pain.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Carter also feels disappointed that he’s back to where he doesn’t want to be and that’s being single again. Lawrence adds, “I’m thinking about what is it like to imagine being married to someone and it doesn’t happen? He has done this before, with Maya and Zoe. What happens when your pain is more familiar than your joy? He has had these tiny moment of happiness but it always ends up with him being alone.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next For Katie?

That’s when Carter has a chat with Katie and before they know it, they share a kiss. Lawrence explains, “We’ve seen their connection and their friendship build in the past and she offers him support. Carter thought he and Quinn were destined, but Katie says he deserves better. That’s something he has heard before but the common denominator is him. At the end of the day, these women leave him. He appreciates Katie’s concern and her sentiment but there is a hopelessness there, like a dull pain.”
