Even though Ridge Forrester is a grown man who can make decisions for himself, it seems like there are some people in his family who believe that they know what’s best for him. And in this case, it’s Eric and Donna who believe that Ridge should get back together again with his estranged wife Brooke Logan and not his ex-wife Taylor Hayes. Here’s what you need to know.

During a conversation with Thomas Forrester, both Eric and Donna made it pretty clear that they think Ridge is better off with his wife. But because Thomas wants what’s best for his parents, he wants to see Ridge and Taylor together again. It’s become a huge conflict for the Forrester family and one that sees no end, really.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for The Bold and the Beautiful fans to weigh in on the matter. Many of them wrote, “Are Thomas and Steffy in an alternate reality?? What grown ADULTS are obsessed so much about their parents getting back together? It’s kinda creepy now!” along with, “Hell no and the reason I say that is because I’ve been watching it from the beginning and Ridge was over her when they were way younger but it’s like you get into a rut and you stay there and then you leave and then you go back to that right? I think he’s done being in the rut.”
