Days of Our Lives spoilers say that there’s no room for overly sexual scenes or dialogue with any vile language in Salem. At least, that’s what actress Deidre Hall has recently assured fans. Here’s what you need to know.

Speaking in a new interview with The Wrap, the actress, who is best known for her role as Marlena Evans, said that the show will remain the same now that it’s on Peacock. In other words, fans shouldn’t expect any raunchy material! She said, “We’re doing it exactly the same as we always have and will continue doing it that way.”

Deidre also said there’s no reason to change the show’s same formula that it has had for nearly 50 years now. She explained, “Our audience is not changing and we respect who they are and what their sensitivities are. We’re not going to become a blatantly sexual or a vile language program. We’re not going to do that; that isn’t who we are, and it’s not who our audience is. Our model has always been multi-generational families, doing something topical, human interest and of social interest. I think in those ways we’re always family oriented. We’re always topical. Our showrunner, Ken Corday and our headwriter, Ron Carlivati stay pretty much on the cutting edge.”

Many DOOL fans commented on the matter with, “My take on this she is talking to HER fanbase and that SHE wont do these things. Deidre is my only reason for watching though unlike a many other die hard Deidreholics I do watch other storylines. I cannot see her showing a lot of skin or dropping f bombs. I think they often get her out there more for her unusual fanbase,” along with, “Oh Deidre, just admit someone is showing ass at some point and going to drop an occasional swear… even though the planned butt shot in A Very Salem Christmas was cut at the eleventh hour.”

Another fan wrote, “I’m not sure I believe she knows the whole plan. I’m sure her s/l won’t have nudity, but I think some will. In the Michael Fairman interview, Greg R basically said, ‘I can’t give anything away, but you MAY be seeing some more skin.’ It seemed like he knew of something that has been filmed. I’m hoping for Zach or Carson, but I’ll take about any of the male cast (under 55, that is).”
