According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Sloan tries to blackmail Paulina and let’s just say she’s not having it at all. Here’s what you need to know.

Sloan approaches Paulina about a scandal that involves Chanel and claims that she has the evidence to prove it. This of course throws Paulina off a little as Chanel is her daughter and she’s going to protect her at all costs. That’s when she decides to stand up to Sloan, for better or for worse.

Actress Jackee Harry, who plays Paulina on the hit soap, puts it this way in a new interview, “She’s got a little swag. She talks some smack, as the kids say. Paulina’s a smart lady. She hasn’t gotten to where she is by reacting quickly or rashly. She tries to outtalk Sloan. She plays her game back and forth. She’s kind of trying to use reverse psychology on her by saying, ‘There’s no way this could be true.’ But she’s definitely scared for her daughter. She will pull out all the stops to make sure nothing happens to Chanel. She’s going to defend Chanel to her death.”

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Paulina?

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that if that weren’t enough, when Sloan demands a bribe in order to keep quiet about the ordeal, Paula doesn’t give in. That’s because deep down inside she knows that Sloan is just giving her this information to throw her off. Yet, Jackee adds, “Paulina’s not worried about this woman threatening her. She’s worried about her daughter. If it ends her gubernatorial run so be it,” and also adds that she “can’t have another one of her daughters going to the pokey.”
