Days of Our Lives news says that it shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone that she’s learning from the best, right? Actress Raven Bowens recently opened up about what she’s learned the most from the show’s makeup artists. Here’s what she has to say!

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, when asked what is her favorite beauty product right now, she said, “Pat McGrath foundation. It’s called Skin Fetish. I am obsessed with it. It’s so thin and light, but it’s still full coverage. I’m also obsessed with Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer.”

Raven also admitted that she’s picked up plenty of tips from the Days of Our Lives makeup team. “I have dark circles around my eyes and concealer doesn’t really work. I’ve learned that if you use something that has a little red or peach in it, it’s really good at canceling out any dark circles and blemishes,” she said.

And just like the rest of us, Raven admits that she would be absolutely devastated if her favorite makeup item were to be discontinued (don’t you just hate when that happens?). She said, “It actually has been discontinued, and it’s what I almost always wear on the show. It’s the M.A.C Patentpolish Lip Pencil. They’re so easy to put on, almost like a ChapStick. The pigment is really strong on them, and they make your lips pop. It looks like you have on a lipstick and a gloss.”

As far as the skin care product that she can’t live without, Raven says it’s, “I really like Tracy Hudson’s skin care line. She’s an aesthetician. I don’t leave the house without her Protect Me Sunscreen on.”
