British Royal News suggests that one person seems to have read the job description a little better than the other. One royal expert says that Kate Middleton has done a better job acclimating herself as a royal than her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. Here’s what you need to know.

Apparently, Buckingham Palace is not big enough for both Kate and Meghan as Katie Nicholl says in her new book, The New Royals, that the Princess of Wales has done a better job fitting in behind closed palace doors. Unfortunately, the said can’t be said about the Duchess of Sussex, who along with her husband Prince Harry, abrupt pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family after just two years.

“Marrying into the royal family may look easy, it may look like a wonderful life of … round-the-clock staff,” Nicholl said. “The reality is, it’s really tough,” the author continued. “We can look back to [Diana], the Princess of Wales, [and] the struggles that she had, the isolation that she felt at a very early stage in her marriage to [Charles], the Prince of Wales.”

If that weren’t enough, Nicholl also said that Queen Elizabeth did her best to try and convince Meghan Markle to repair her relationship with her estranged father. Unfortunately, Meghan was having none of it.

She wrote in her book, “The Queen could see how damaging the situation was between Meghan and her father and she did speak to Meghan about it and tried to encourage her to talk to Thomas. The whole thing was quite badly handled with Thomas Markle and it if had been done differently, it would have come out better.”

Back in July, it was reported in another book that Meghan had also acted viscously towards her father. In his unauthorized biography, Bower says that he was most horrified after hearing about how Meghan had treated her own father in the past. “For a daughter who owed her father everything to turn so viciously against him – and reduce a proud, successful man to such misery – was a shocking and terrible thing,” he claimed.
