The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that if this sounds familiar, it’s because it certainly is! Thomas Forrester and Hope Logan find common ground after a visit from Child Protection Services and before the two of them know it, they are bonding again. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, actor Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester on the hit CBS soap, says that first and foremost, both Thomas and Hope want to make sure that Douglas Forrester is truly okay and that he won’t be negatively impacted by this. Matthew says, “The first thing in Thomas’ mind is to let Hope know that this may be weird that CPS would stop by, but Douglas was in no way negatively affected. All is good. He wants to make sure Hope knows that, even though he is throwing out the hint that the one person out there who may have called them is probably her mother.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that while spending a quiet moment together, Thomas and Hope find themselves complimenting their parenting skills and discussing several different ways that they can communicate together. Matthew explains, “For all of Thomas’s faults, one thing that will always be true is his love for his son and his decision to help make this a family.”
The actor continues, “Thomas wants Hope to see that and respect that and, of course, with the history there, it causes her to question him. But I think she genuinely believes that Thomas wants to be the best dad he can be. Both of them have suffered through the Forrester/Logan crisis for years and if they can put all of that aide, they can really, possibly, make some progress.”
