As many The Young and the Restless fans know by now, actor Trevor St. Johns is back on the soap. But here’s the thing – no one knows exactly which character he’s playing again. Clearly though, he’s playing someone from Diane’s past. In a new teaser trailer, you can tell by the expression on her face that she’s none too pleased by his presence!

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both The Young and the Restless fans and critics alike to wonder who this new mystery person is! Many of them commented with, “That’s supposed to be Tucker?? As in – Devon’s father? Apparently Tucker has found the fountain of youth! I’m sure he’s a great actor but he doesn’t fit the profile of the character at all,” along with, “He is way too young to be Tucker.  And btw, nobody is appreciating the Victoria/Billy/Johnny scene. Don’t revisit that again till the writing for that storyline is looked at again . Horrible writing. Y’all going to end up on Peacock like Days. Get it together.”

Another fan said, “It’s like seeing an old boyfriend after ten years have passed!  A really great old boyfriend! Thrilled to see Trevor St. John on #YR Can’t wait for tomorrow!”

And then there was this comment, “Sorry this actor is 20 years too young to be Tucker. Stephen Nichols is over 70! And was fantastic on the show. This new Tucker is 50 in real life. 

No way can you lower a character’s age by 20 years. Looks ridiculous. And Devon is what 35? So his father had him while a teen? I can’t take this seriously. Tucker is 70, his son Devon is late 30’s. TSJ is 51.”
