According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, it seems like things are going to get significantly worse for Jennifer before they get better as her pill addiction gets to bad that she can’t manage it anymore.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actress Cady McClain, who plays Jennifer on the hit Peacock soap, explains, “I feel like it’s such a major thing for a mother to lose a child, and she’s the character that has been so strong for everyone that it just made perfect sense that she would be hiding a secret so that she could present a strong face to everybody else.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that when Jennifer gets behind the wheel, things go just as wrong as you’d expect. When she gets home hours later, Julia and Jack express their concern.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Jennifer?

Cady added, “The amount of pills that she’s taking her put her over the edge. The depth of the grief has created something where she does not have control of the situation. It’s not our normal Jennifer, it’s someone who’s lost the plot completely and there are very unfortunate ramifications to that. Somehow, she makes it home. She wasn’t hurt, so that is something that she feels she can hide and doesn’t want people to know about, how badly she’s doing, how out of control she is.”
