The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Finally Sees Deacon Again

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this is the reunion that everyone didn’t expect, but definitely want to see. While in Los Angeles, Nikki Newman prepares to meet with her ex Deacon Sharpe and let’s just say that she’s about to expect the unexpected. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Finally Sees Deacon Again

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Head Writer Josh Griffith says that Nikki is determined to confront Deacon and get him to help her with Diane Jenkins. The scribe puts it this way, “Nikki made the decision to not bring Phyllis or Ashley along as she doesn’t want any distractions when she meets with Deacon. Phyllis and Ashley trust Nikki’s judgment when it comes to Deacon Sharpe, so they don’t challenge her decision to go by herself.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that given everything that had happened between Nikki and Deacon in the past, the Newmans are certainly concerned about what might be ahead. They don’t want her to take one step back when she’s been taking all of these steps forward. 

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Nikki?

Griffith said, “Nikki’s relationship with Deacon sent her to a very dark place, so Victoria is understandably worried about Nikki’s sobriety being jeopardized. Nikki has assured Victoria that she’s strong enough to see Deacon and isn’t worried about maintaining her sobriety. Victor offered to go with Nikki, but she insisted on going alone. However, Victor will keep tabs on Nikki to protect her at all costs.”

Low and behold, it doesn’t take long for Nikki to see that Deacon has not changed one bit. Now, whether or not she’s going to get all of the information that she wants remains to be seen.
