The Young and the Restless meets The Bold and the Beautiful once again. Y&R star Melody Thomas Scott recently opened up about her crossover episode with sister soap B&B, in which her character Nikki Newman finally comes face to face with her ex, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) again. While on The Talk, Melody really didn’t give out too many details. While Sheryl Underwood did say that her character had had a lot of drama in her life, she couldn’t help but wonder what was in store for Nikki in Los Angeles. Melody responded with, “Well, I can’t tell you that right now at this moment. You have to watch, Sheryl!”
When asked if Nikki is going to slap anyone, Melody said no, but she did open up about working with Natlie Morales on the show. As many fans know, Natalie has taken on the role as investigative journalist Talia Morgan.
Melody said, “And so, when they told me, ‘Natalie’s going to come over and work with you,’ I said, ‘What?’ I geeked out; I was such a fan. I think I was the same the first day I met you, too. But it was wonderful. She’s playing an investigative reporter ’cause I’m trying to get dirt on Diane Jenkins [Susan Walters] and her character lives in Los Angeles and so slowly but surely over the different episodes, I think I’ve got her hooked now. And you want to find out the dirt just as badly as I do.”
That said, we cannot wait to find out what will happen when Nikki sees her ex Deacon again. We have a feeling that sparks are going to fly. That, or there’s going to be a whole lot of drama!
