Could it be that someone might be jealous here? The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Adam Newman couldn’t help but notice a connection between Sally Spectra and his brother, Nick Newman. Uh-oh! Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know!
According to a teaser from The Young and the Restless on Twitter, Adam can sense that something might be going on between Sally and his step-brother. Little does he know though that the two have already been getting freaky under the sheets. Talk about a sixth sense, right?
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both The Young and the Restless fans and critics to weigh in on this new hook up and apparently, there aren’t a lot of people who are liking it. Some comments have included, “I don’t understand the reason behind Nick and Sally blessing the Newman Media office other than this is still a Soap. I thought Adam and Sally were good together, they’re cut from the same cloth. I just don’t get it,” along with, “The only thing that is really pathetic about soaps…everyone gets passed around like an assembly line. Nick & Adam goes back & forth with the same women! That soap trope should be retired. Even if the intention isn’t an abuse of power, it feeds into that narrative & allows for an unfair & sexist critique of Sally.”
Another critic put it this way, “These writers are giving Adam ZERO respect. He’s done as much to change all the while feeling he’s an outsider in his own family. And the 1 woman he’s truly had a genuine connection with ends like this! Adam deserves better!! Pity Sally’s office door was locked. Would have LOVED for Adam to actually see just how ‘connected’ they were on her sofa!!”
