The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next In The Battle For Douglas?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that this is going to be a fight like no one has seen before. Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell recently previewed the custody battle for Douglas Forrester between Thomas Forrester and Hope Logan in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest. Here’s what he has to say.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What’s Next In The Battle For Douglas?

As many fans know, Thomas wants full custody of his son. Thomas’ portrayer, Matthew Atkinson, puts it this way, “Steffy and his parents are very encouraging. They want to see him fulfill his role as a father, especially now that their own family is closer than they have been in years. No one is more on his side than Steffy.”

Speaking to the publication in a seperate interview, Bell offered, “Brooke accuses Taylor of masterminding a plot to take Ridge and Douglas from the Logans, but Taylor holds her ground, insisting that both are better off with the Forrester family. Liam has strong feelings about the matter, especially where Hope and Thomas’s obsession with her is concerned. The fight for what’s best for Douglas commences this fall, and loyalties and alliances shift unexpectedly.”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers also tease that Hope Logan is none too pleased with the idea that she might lose Douglas and to Thomas, no less. Matthew explains, “Thomas just wants to take his rightful place. He’s not saying they are no longer a family. It’s just the opposite. He’s not prying Douglas away from Hope. He knows Doulgas has bounded with hope, Liam and Beth, and he believes they can all make it work.”

It sounds to us as though Thomas is being very reasonable about all of this – but will Hope listen to him?
